Location: Cook Field, 140 S Patterson Ave, Oxford, OH 45056At Miami University, students and faculty are gathering on May Day for a festive Celebration of Life for Cook Field 🎉💪. We're not mourning, we're organizing!.

We’re laying to rest misplaced priorities — nearly $300 million funneled into a new arena while our community loses greenspace, academic programs face cuts, students shoulder the costs, and faculty and librarians are offered next to nothing in new raises — and fighting for something better.
Our work makes colleges and universities run. On May Day, we will come together with our students and communities to show the power of higher education, united.
Our Demands for May 1st - No ICE on campus. - Real investment in students. - 15%+ raises for faculty and librarians. - Tax the rich so the public good, not greed, comes first. - Expand democracy, not corporate power. Hands off our vote.
